NLVAY / LEGAL
Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 September 2026
These terms describe permitted use of nlvay.com and NLVAY project downloads. "NLVAY", "we", and "our" refer to the creator operating this site under the NLVAY name. A separate license supplied with a project takes precedence for that project if it conflicts with these terms.
1. Using the site and software
You may browse this site, share links to its pages, and download and run NLVAY releases on devices you own or are authorized to use, subject to the applicable license. We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use our software for your own purposes. This does not transfer ownership or grant permission to sell, sublicense, or redistribute it.
2. Our work and your rights
Original NLVAY code, text, artwork, and other protected material remain the property of their respective rights holders. Except as permitted by a project license, written permission, or applicable law, you may not copy, republish, sell, redistribute, or create derivative works from that material. Do not remove copyright or attribution notices.
These terms do not claim ownership over general ideas, software functionality, or independently created work. Legal exceptions, including applicable quotation, fair use, interoperability, and other mandatory rights, are preserved. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.
3. Name, branding, and impersonation
Do not present yourself, your site, your software, or your account as NLVAY or as an official NLVAY representative without authorization. Do not use NLVAY or NECT names, logos, or copied branding in a way that falsely suggests origin, sponsorship, approval, or affiliation. Do not repackage a release and claim you created it.
Accurate references, reviews, and links to our work are permitted when they do not mislead people about affiliation. These terms do not assert that NLVAY or NECT is a registered trademark or create trademark rights beyond those provided by applicable law.
4. Responsible use
Do not use the site or software for unlawful access, malware distribution, deception, harassment, or tracking another person's device without authorization. Do not interfere with the site's operation or attempt to access systems or data without permission.
5. Prototype releases
Prototype releases are unfinished software. Features may change, fail, or be removed. Screenshots may show a proposed interface rather than the exact behavior of a download. Keep backups of important files and review a release before relying on it. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every Windows configuration, updates, or ongoing support.
6. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site and software are supplied "as is" and "as available", without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or freedom from errors. To that same extent, NLVAY is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or software.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer rights. The exclusions above apply only where the law allows them.
7. Your data
You retain your rights in your files and other content. These terms do not give NLVAY ownership of your data or permission to monitor your PC. Any collection or processing of personal information requires its own applicable notice and lawful basis; these terms are not consent to tracking.
8. Breaches and changes
We may restrict access to the site or withdraw the permission granted here for a material breach, subject to applicable law and any required notice or opportunity to remedy the breach. We may revise these terms for future use and will update the date above. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights already granted, and we will obtain renewed agreement where required.
9. Applicable rights
Applicable law determines the validity and enforcement of these terms and the courts that may hear a dispute. No exclusive jurisdiction is selected here. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
